Your Journey of Discovery
Day 1: The Opening Circle
Arrive at our tranquil retreat center nestled in the embrace of Arizona’s serene desert. Begin your journey with a warm welcome and an intimate circle of like-minded women, all here to explore the depths of their spirit. As you settle in with a cup of herbal tea and light snacks, our opening ceremony will cleanse and prepare you for the transformative days ahead. We will get to know one another, set our intentions. You will then choose your drum and image that is speaking to you.
Day 2: The Sacred Drum
Greet the dawn with a silent contemplative walk to a nearby abandoned quartz mine, attuning your senses to the desert's whispering wisdom. After a nourishing breakfast, immerse yourself in the sacred craft of drum-painting, where each color you choose resonates with a story of your life. Our throat chakra workshop will introduce the power of voice, using sound to unlock the doors to your inner world. As night falls, we gather under the stars for a drum circle, celebrating the birth of your drum and the awakening of your voice.
Day 3: Sedona's “Birthing Cave” and Montezuma's Embrace
With your sacred drum in hand, journey to the mystical birthing cave in Sedona, where the earth’s energy will amplify your intentions. Meditative practices amidst these powerful sites will deepen your connection to the universe's rhythm. We will enjoy lunch in town, and then travel to Montezuma's Well, and partake in a water ceremony to further cleanse and activate your throat chakra, the wellspring of your expression.
Day 4: The Integration and Celebration
On this final day, integrate your experiences into a tapestry of self-awareness and celebration. You'll now sign and date your drum, now infused with the energy of Sedona and your personal touch. The culmination is a vibrant throat chakra activation ceremony, where your voice, now fully unleashed, joins in harmony with your sisters in spirit and we celebrate the opening of the center of our creativity and our power.
